HOW WE ARE DIFFERENT

Many drift karts on the market now are designed to be full size drift cars on a smaller scale.  We came from a different direction.  We started with the question, “What would be the most fun, magical riding experience?”  And as we experimented and developed, drifting is what naturally came out.  We focus on drifting because it’s literally what the math says is the most magical feeling.  Our karts focus on precision, comfort, and tunability.  You can feel good about having one (or two!) because they are long lasting and durable.  Easy to share with friends, fun to ride in tandem whether you’re doing tricks or playing games.  They’re quiet so you can still chat with a friend while riding and you certainly won’t bother the neighbors.  They’re powerful enough to be thrilling and dialed in to perfection.  Our karts are built different from the ground up with one goal in mind, bringing you the ride of your life.

WHO WE ARE

Arc Drift is a small, family business.  Scott and Erin have been working together for more than 25 years, but this business is different because the kids are getting involved, too!  Arc Drift has truly been a labor of love for the whole family.  Everyone has contributed in some way whether it’s been design, problem solving, test driving, or welding.  It has been thrilling to bring this project to life and doing it with the whole family has made it even more special.

We are a small company and we like it that way.  Our goal is to turn out the best karts, not the most.  That means that we are focused on fine tuning our patented design and delivering premium build quality.  Everything is touched by our hands to make sure that something we are proud of is what arrives at your door.  As a small business we also appreciate shopping local and building community where we are.  We are thrilled to work as much as possible with local suppliers and distributors when it comes to everything from our steel and gas to our uniform shirts and hats.  We are also a family business.  These karts come from our family to yours and we care not only about what gets to you but how it got there.  We want this work to reflect our values so we prioritize rest, relationships, and recreation so we can bring our best selves to creating the best product for you.

MEET THE TEAM

Scott Co-Founder, CEO

Scott has been building inventions and mechanical magic since before kindergarten, starting with LEGO and moving up to wood-working, engineering, and metal fabrication.  He has always enjoyed innovation and solving problems.  After running his own business and then working a corporate job for 15 years, he’s thrilled to be in the physical maker space, bringing spectacle and magic experiences to others.

Erin Co-Founder, CBO

With experience ranging from retail, to trauma care, to event planning, to teaching graduate level courses, if you’ve got a problem, Erin has a solution.  Erin has enjoyed organizing and knowing why things work since elementary school.  She is loving bringing her enthusiasm, positive vibes, and genius problem solving (as well as all her highlighters and multicolored folders) to making this business a reality.

Jack Design & Production

Jack is launching into adulthood full speed and sideways!  After graduating from high school in the last year, he is taking some time to learn a whole new set of skills.  From design to welding to video editing, he’s had his hands and mind on every aspect of this venture.  He has been an invaluable asset to the team and our most enthusiastic rider.  He’s excited to be here and we couldn’t be happier to have him as part of the team.
